synchstep prep beta for win + mac

well, i’ve been beta testing synchstep prep (my replacement for beatunes) for the past few weeks, and a few generous users have notified me of minor bugs that i’ve fixed. all in all, it seems to be working fairly well, and the bpm algorithm is on-track to improve very soon (it gets about 8/10 songs right now, the next update should hit 9.8/10).

i still don’t have a powerpc version, but that’s really a stupid limitation right now. i need to compile fftw for powerpc, but that means

1. tracking down a ppc computer
2. setting up a dev environemnt
3. compiling fftw

it’s not THAT annoying, i’m just a bit lazy after all the work of getting the intel mac and windows ones out. especially since i found out later that it didn’t work on powerpc because the bpm detection file and library weren’t compiled for ppc.

i’ll get to it, but it’s going to be a little while. sorry ppc users =\ once i have the lib compiled, it should be pretty easy to compile bpmcount for ppc.
